Travelling in the UK

There are many ways to get around the UK. This is by road, rail, and air

Roads

All major towns and cities can be accesed by road. Major motoways can include the M1 from London to Leeds, M4 from London to south wales, M40 from London to Birmingham, M5 from Birmingham to the south west, M6 from coventry to carlisle, M62 from Manchester to Leeds and many others. Other major roads include A roads such as the A1 and A6 and smaller B roads linking the A roads with smaller towns and villages.

Rail

Major railway lines include the West Coast Mainline linking London and Scotland and all the towns in the middle on both sides of the UK. There is also cross country routes. The major train companies are Virgin, First Great Western, Central and many other smaller companies. Scotrail is the main train company one in scotland

Air

There are many airports in the UK. Som,e of them include London Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham International, Manchester, East Midlands, Bristol and other local airports. Flights from these airports go all over the world. Visually impaired people can use journey care to book travel assistance on trains up to 24 houirs before taking their journey.
