Distinguishing denomination of notes can be problematic. There is however a device on the market which, when note is inserted and button pressed, a vibration signals the denomination of note. 1 pulse denotes 5 euro, 2 – 10 euro, 3 – 20 euro and 4 – 50 euro. A template card giving the different sizes of notes can also be had from NCBI. However, when in public for obvious reasons, it is not wise to use such tools. Most people adopt their own solution to knowing money. For instance, by folding notes in different ways, e.g., square, oblong or triangular and by putting them in different pockets.
